AREAS OF USE
Designed for the critical areas, to ensure complete sealing against water action in underlay system for ceramic tiles. For interior and exterior use. It is recommended for underlay systems under ceramic tiles made with weber.tec 822 or weber.tec superflex D2.
PREPARING THE SUPPORT
The substrate must be clean, non-deformable, dry, free of anti-adherent substances (grease, release-agent, bitumen, tar, dust etc.), with no large cracks and protruding parts. Remove watertight parts and debris that may reduce adhesion. The edges and corners must be rounded, and the protruding parts flattened. If necessary, gypsum based plasters and very fine surfaces will be mechanically processed by roughing.
PREPARATION AND DIRECTION OF USE
Fix it and integrate the Weber.tec 828 DB 75 sealing tape in a fresh layer of underlay (weber.tec 822 /weber.tec superflex D2) applied in the wall-to-floor joint areas, over the expansion joint and in the transition areas between different materials. Corner areas can be efficiently taped with weber.tec 828 DI for inside corner and weber.tec 828 DA for outside corners. For sanitary fittings, we recommend the weber.tec 828 MD adjustable sealing tape for pipes. The material can be applied with a wall paint brush, roller or notched trowel. For obtaining a waterproofing layer it is necessary to apply at least two coats of underlay over the entire surface to be insulated.
TIPS
Use at temperatures between -30° C and + 90 ° C. Avoid direct sunlight. It is strictly forbidden to use the material under adverse weather conditions.
