A space that has never stopped reinventing itself
15 years ago, PIATRAONLINE opened Romania’s first showroom dedicated to natural stone here. Not a warehouse, nor a traditional shop, but a conceptual space where the material could be understood at its true value.
Since then, the showroom has been through numerous transformations, keeping pace with the evolution of design, new technologies and the way projects are conceived and built today. Its current form is the fullest expression of this evolution: an internationally award-winning flagship store, designed as a gallery, museum, working studio and creative hub.
Here, stone is not simply placed on a shelf. It is put in the spotlight, viewed from entirely new angles and always in dialogue with architecture. You’ll discover rare textures, innovative finishes, full-scale applications and technical solutions that turn inspiration into an achievable project.
A destination for all the possibilities of stone
The ground floor is built as a scenographic journey through materials, collections and ways of using them. Corridors, volumes and concept spaces showcase different types of stone, textures and finishes, from large surfaces to custom details.
The ground floor opens up exploration through collections, textures, finishes and applications presented in real design contexts. Upstairs, the private area dedicated to architects and designers brings together the RAW and FLOW collections, cutting-edge technologies and working spaces. The slab gallery presents stone in all its grandeur, while the outdoor Exhibition Pavilion completes the experience with solutions for façades, terraces, pathways and landscaping that blend into their surroundings.

Not every stone makes it here. We look for character, rhythm, depth and compatibility between materials. Then we build collections that go beyond a simple selection of products and offer a clear vision of how stone can be integrated into contemporary design.
Discover the RAW and FLOW engraved slab collections, the corridor dedicated to travertine, the collection of basins and sinks, and the concept space for flexible SKIN slate. Each area turns the material from a simple sample into a concrete project possibility.
You can see the surfaces at full scale, touch and compare them, and observe how texture, proportion and finish change in the light and across different applications. The choice becomes clearer, and inspiration gains direction.
