CNC TECHNOLOGY
Cutting, milling, profiling and engraving
CNC processing uses digitally controlled machinery to cut, mill, drill, profile and shape stone with high precision. Starting from a technical drawing or a 3D model, the tool movements are programmed to reproduce contours, depths and complex volumes in a controlled, repeatable way.
The PIATRAONLINE workshop features a five-axis interpolated CNC centre for countertops, steps and special pieces, alongside a CNC Shaping Mill that processes stone blocks through adaptive systems and 3D scanning. The technology enables the development of custom elements, from precise cutouts and profiles to reliefs and three-dimensional forms.

We translate digital models onto the surface of the stone, from decorative engravings and repeatable textures to reliefs with multiple depth levels. The CNC prepares the precise shape, which can later be completed with artisanal finishing.

We process stone blocks to create organic shapes, sculptural volumes and elements with three-dimensional geometries. Digital scanning and modelling help control the form before and during execution.

We create countertops, steps, washbasins, furniture and special elements tailored exactly to the space. Each piece can integrate cutouts, edges and construction details within a single processing flow.
