Travertine was and continues to be one of the most used natural stones in the interior and exterior designs: bathroom, kitchen, but also facades of houses, pavings etc. A good example is the Colosseum of Rome, built almost entirely from travertine.
This product is available in a wide variety of colors and shades, a very important feature of chromatic uniformity. Travertine comes with an affordable price, based on quality, origin (quarry) and the many finishes: glossy, honed, brushed, tumbled, bush hammered. Some types of travertine can be superior to marble, although price is usually lower compared to the price of marble.
