The BERA® WaterFix Ball S box contains 50 unassembled balls (100 halves) for the retention and infiltration of rainwater into the ground. The system is inspired by the traditional method of managing excess water — digging a pit and filling it with gravel — but with nearly 3 times greater efficiency: the BERA® WaterFix Ball provides 95% infiltration space, compared to only 30% with traditional gravel.

The balls are delivered unassembled (in two halves) for efficient transport and storage. The S box with 50 balls provides approximately 0.26 m³ of infiltration or retention capacity after assembly, ideal for small and medium-sized residential gardens. The system allows free shaping of the infiltration space, adapted to the terrain, water table level or any underground obstacles.

Installation:

Dig a pit of the desired dimensions in the chosen infiltration area. Line the pit with DuPont™ Typar® geotextile to prevent clogging with fine soil particles. Assemble the balls from their two halves and place them in the pit until completely filled. Fold the geotextile over the balls and cover with soil. Connect the system to roof gutters or paved surface drains via a drainage pipe. No special tools are required for assembly and installation. For larger infiltration capacities, combine multiple WaterFix Ball S boxes or choose a larger format box.
