AREAS OF USE
It is used to equalize the water absorption of the underlay surfaces and obtaining slip-resistant surfaces before applying the weber.ton variosilic silicate paint for facades. It increases the hardness of the underlays and improves the strength of the reinforcing mortar, “allowing the walls to breathe". Provides additional protection against the development of microorganisms and the occurrence of mold. It is applied on base coat plasters, fine wall plaster, and on reinforcement adhesives for thermal insulation systems.
PREPARING THE SUPPORT
The substrate must be clean, non-deformable, dry, fixed, with bearing capacity and free from adhesion (grease, bitumen, dust, etc.). Surfaces outside the application area should be covered with adhesive tape and protective foil, because stained and dirty surfaces cannot be completely cleaned later.
PREPARATION AND DIRECTION OF USE
Weber G800 primer is mixed with clean water in a 1:1 ratio. Homogenize well, wait for 10 minutes then mix again. The resulting material is applied with a wall paint brush or roller, over the entire surface to be painted. Wait for the first coat to dry (about 5-7 hours) and then apply the second coat. Facade paint can be applied only after a waiting period of at least 24 hours since applying the second coat of primer.
TIPS
Apply the material when the air and underlay temperature is between + 5 °C to + 30 °C. Do not apply on frosty, excessively hot surfaces or on surfaces exposed to direct rain and the primed surfaces must be protected from frost, direct sunlight, rain and other weathering until complete drying. The used tools are washed with water immediately after use.
COMPOSITION
Liquid product based on potassium silicate, enriched with organic additives, with mineral additions and quartz. After drying it ensures very good adhesion of the support.
