In low light setting, Extra Blue Granite with flamed finish is black with subtle shades. In more intense light setting, black granite is dark blue. The very bright light makes it blue with white flashes (polar sky like) and shades like emeralds.
The flamed finish is achieved with high temperature flame applied over the surface. As a result, the surface layer expands and flakes off, exposing a rough surface.
