Description

AREAS OF USE
For flexible external waterproofing of basement walls made from masonry or concrete, below ground level, concrete floors or foundations. Also for subsequent waterproofing of the interior basement walls. For waterproofing water tanks (inside, up to 15 m water column). As preliminary waterproofing and bonding layer under polymer modified bituminous layer, waterproofing continues under masonry, bonding layer on old surfaces of anionic bitumen. Also as an adhesive for extruded polystyrene sheets, rigid foam boards and mineral fiber tiles. Recommended especially for waterproofing under ceramic tiles.

PREPARING THE SUPPORT
The underlay must be clean, non-deformable, dry, fixed and free of anti-adhering substances (grease, bitumen, tar, dust etc.), frost free, no large cracks or protruding parts. Remove waterproofing parts and debris that may reduce adhesion. The edges and corners must be rounded and the protruding parts flattened. Cracks and cavities larger than 5 mm must be closed, filles.

PREPARATION AND DIRECTION OF USE
Flexible weber.tec superflex D2 waterproofing is a two-component material: a fluid-paste component and a powdery one. Pour the fluid into a bucket, add the powdered component, then mix it (2 -3 minute) with an electric mixer (maximum speed of 800 rpm) until a homogeneous paste is obtained, without agglomerations. The mixing ratio is 1:1 parts by weight. The obtained paste can be applied with a wall paint brush or roller, notched trowel or automatized. For obtaining a waterproofing layer, it is necessary to apply at least two layers (3 layers for surfaces exposed to water under pressure). The first coat of superflex D2 weber.tec is applied to a properly prepared, compact coat over the entire surface (consumption approx. 1.25 kg / m2 per mm thickness). The minimum layer must be observed at every point of the waterproofing surface. The next layer can be applied when the first layer can no longer be damaged by applying the new layer. To ensure non-stress drying, the amount per coat should not exceed 1.5 kg / m2. On vertical surfaces, walls, ceramic tiles can be executed after approx. 90 minutes, and the horizontal surfaces, floors, become practical and can be cladded with ceramic tiles after approx. 4 hours after applying the last waterproofing layer. Surfaces can be subjected to permanent water action/charging after 3 days. The setting time is influenced by atmospheric conditions.

TIPS
Apply the material when the air and underlay temperature is between + 3 ° C to + 30 ° C and avoid bad weather conditions (rain, snow, strong wind, direct exposure to sunlight). When working in strong sun, apply waterproofing in the shade. Isolated surfaces will be protected from rain and frost for at least 4 hours after application. Do not dilute the material with water or mix it with other building materials. Surfaces outside the application area are covered with adhesive tape and protective foil. The used tools are washed with water immediately after use.

COMPOSITION
Weber.tec superflex D2 is a flexible, fast-curing, bicomponent, based on cement and selected quartz sand containing high reactivity polymers, reactive fillers and additives.
