LTP Ferrex is an acid-based stone cleaning agent, specifically formulated to remove stains from surfaces of granite, slate, sandstone and other acid resistant stone surfaces.
It removes rust and discoloration from stained surfaces. Use it on surfaces with honed, brushed, flamed, sand blasted and bush hammered finish.
Recommended for bathrooms, kitchens, garages, parking lots, wet spaces, interior and exterior decoration projects (public and residential use).
Also recommended for exterior paving, polygonal stone, flagstone, Japanese steps, furniture and acid resistant floating paving.

Directions for use
Shake well before use! Detergent can be used undiluted or diluted with water, depending on your contamination. Always test on an inconspicuous area before general use, if you want to establish the dilution.
Mild contamination/slight discoloration: 1 part solution: 3 parts water
Severe contamination/more discoloration:1 part solution: 2 parts water
Extreme case: 1 part solution: 1 part water
Solution can be applied directly over the surface, by pouring or by spraying. Spread it even with a mop. For severe cases, scrub it with a brush or black emulsifier pad. Allow it to react for 3-6 hours, then wash surface with clean water. For stubborn stains repeat the procedure after 2 days.
For removing adhesive residues or grout stains, you just leave solution to react a couple of minutes over the surface, depending on the type of stain.
It is recommended to use undiluted LTP Ferrex only in extreme cases after failing to remove stains with your diluted solution of LTP Ferrex.
Coverage/consumption
Mild contamination: 30 sqm/Liter of solution (1:3 dilution)
Severe contamination: 20 sqm/Liter of solution (1:2 dilution)
Extreme contamination: 10 sqm/ Liter of solution (1:1 dilution)
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, frost free environment (optimum temperature: 5 – 25 °C).
Shelf life: maximum 4 years for unopened containers.
Warning: Protect acid sensitive surfaces against splashes! Some stones might get slightly darker upon application, but this will gradually fade over time. NOT suitable for highly polished stone surfaces!
Solution has a limited effect on limestone, travertine or marble.
Protect surfaces against water after treatment. We recommend sealing surfaces with LTP External Stone Sealer or LTP Mattstone H20 after using LTP Ferrex.
For single rust stains use LTP Rust Stain Remover.
WARNING: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN! Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If in eyes: rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Wear suitable gloves and eye protection.
