About LTP Ferrex Rust Remover
LTP Ferrex Rust Remover is an acid-based cleaning agent formulated to effectively remove rust stains from granite, slate, sandstone, and other acid-resistant stone surfaces. This product is suitable for various finishes, including honed, brushed, flamed, sandblasted, and bush-hammered, making it a versatile solution for maintaining the pristine appearance of your stone surfaces.

Key Features
This rust remover is ideal for use in bathrooms, kitchens, garages, parking lots, and wet spaces. It is recommended for both public and residential projects, including exterior paving, polygonal stone, flagstone, Japanese steps, furniture, and acid-resistant floating paving.
Usage Recommendations
Shake well before use. Depending on the level of contamination, the detergent can be used undiluted or diluted with water. Always test on an inconspicuous area before general use to determine the appropriate dilution.
- Mild contamination/slight discoloration: 1 part solution to 3 parts water
- Severe contamination/more discoloration: 1 part solution to 2 parts water
- Extreme cases: 1 part solution to 1 part water
Apply the solution directly to the surface by pouring or spraying, spread evenly with a mop. For severe cases, scrub with a brush or black emulsifier pad. Allow it to react for 3-6 hours, then wash the surface with clean water. For stubborn stains, repeat the procedure after 2 days.

- Mild contamination: 30 sqm/Liter of solution (1:3 dilution)
- Severe contamination: 20 sqm/Liter of solution (1:2 dilution)
- Extreme contamination: 10 sqm/Liter of solution (1:1 dilution)
Storage and Shelf Life
Store in a cool, dry, frost-free environment with an optimum temperature of 5 – 25 °C. The shelf life is up to 4 years for unopened containers.
Maintenance
After treatment, protect surfaces against water. It is recommended to seal surfaces with LTP External Stone Sealer or LTP Mattstone H20. For single rust stains, use LTP Rust Stain Remover.
