Directions for Use
Preparation:
Ensure the surface is completely clean and dry (minimum 24 hours).
Any retained moisture may cause LTP Premium Ironwax Gloss to dry opaque or prevent the seal from reaching full hardness.
Application:
For rough, textured, or riven surfaces: Apply a thin, even coat using a sponge or paintbrush in one direction. Do not rub or buff. Allow to dry for 1 hour before applying additional coats. Apply until a thin, uniform film is created (typically 3 coats). For a higher gloss finish, apply additional coats at right angles to the previous ones (maximum 6 coats).
For honed and smooth surfaces: Use a J-cloth or sealant applicator pad to apply a thin, even coat without rubbing. Apply up to 3 coats for an optimal finish, allowing 1 hour between applications.
Important: Do not over-apply, as excessive coats may lead to an uneven buildup and reduce product effectiveness.
Performance & Maintenance
✔ Durability: Hardens within 1 hour, but full hardness and water resistance are achieved after 3 days.
✔ Coverage: Approximately 15-30m² per liter per coat, depending on surface porosity.
✔ Maintenance:
Regularly sweep the floor to remove dust and debris.
Clean and protect treated surfaces using LTP Floorshine.
Reapply LTP Premium Ironwax Gloss to worn areas as needed.
For complete resealing, remove the original coating with LTP Grimex before reapplying.
Storage & Safety
✔ Storage: Keep in a cool, dry, frost-free environment. Shelf life: Up to 4 years in unopened containers.
✔ Precautions:
Avoid shaking the bottle before use to prevent frothing, which may lead to an uneven finish.
Avoid extreme temperatures during application.
Do not use strong detergents on treated surfaces.
