We are proud to announce that the PIATRAONLINE showroom in Timișoara has been awarded the BIG SEE Architecture Award 2024, a prestigious recognition of architectural innovation, visionary design, and creative courage in Southeast Europe.
This showroom is more than a retail space – it is a material gallery and an architectural manifesto. A place where natural stone is not simply displayed, but narrated, through carefully orchestrated volumes, textures, and light.
Developed in collaboration with a visionary architecture studio, the Timișoara showroom offers a multisensory experience. Every detail – from spatial sequencing to lighting and material dialogue – was designed to turn natural stone into a story worth discovering.
What did we aim for with this space?
- To redefine the way stone is experienced, curated, and selected.
- To create emotional engagement, not just transactional interaction.
- To offer a meeting point for designers, architects, and creators who view materials as a starting point for great ideas.
This award validates our long-standing belief: materials deserve curation, and showrooms deserve reinvention. We are proud that our Timișoara space now stands as a reference in the contemporary European design landscape.
