Marble is a metamorphic rock obtained from thermal conversion of limestone, with medium hardness (level 3-4 on the Mohs scale) and medium porosity. Marble is sensitive to scratches and corrosive agents and has an excellent behavior when subjected to environmental factors. It is available in a wide range of colors, sometimes veined, with multiple finishes: polished, honed, brushed, splitfaced, bush hammered, chiseled, sandblasted. Marble requires treatment and aftercare on a regular basis and can be used as slabs, tiles, panels, mosaic, countertops, window sills, stairs, furniture, sanitary ware.
Calacatta Lucina Autograph Marble with 2 cm thickness has a typical grayscale color, polished finished and is customized by its thin ribs. It can be used for interior and exterior cladding, flooring (medium pedestrian traffic) and also wall cladding.
After cutting, tiles are installed by classic technology (apply adhesive with a notched trowel and comb the surface). We recommend Weber’s special adhesives for natural stone: Weber Set Stone and Weber Set Marmo Plus. It is recommended to apply Weber GR100 primer, before installation.
