Choosing the installation team
KPI
For efficient installation work, performance indicators need to be set. These serve, on one hand, to set a rough benchmark for a worker’s output, and on the other hand, to make that output measurable. Rating and assessing installers takes several factors into account, such as qualifications and experience; in most cases, these produce the following performance indicators to track:
bathroom cladding = 5-6 sqm/day
kitchen cladding = 10 sqm/day
wall cladding = 7-12 sqm/day (installation pace depends on tile size; smaller tiles mean more installation time)
living room/basement cladding = 15-20 sqm/day
terrace cladding = 15-20 sqm/day
plinth/fence cladding = 10-20 sqm/day depending on the stone
façade cladding – not specified, depends on the stone
decorative stone cladding = 15-20 sqm/day
cobblestone installation = 10-12 sqm/day
installing a standard countertop with backing panel = 1 day
installing a standard countertop + island = 2 days
step and riser cladding = 15 steps/day
installing window sills = 15-20 linear meters/day
