Hello, I poured the screed in the room in which I want to install Latte Polished Travertine, 2 cm width. Do I need a primer for the screed, or just spray it a little with water before applying the adhesive?
You can also install without the primer.
In the category “Instructions for Installation and Aftercare of Decorative Natural Stone”, subcategory “Grouting”, it is specified: Joints should have minimum 3 cm for allowing movement of tiles and we do not recommend, nor is possible to have fully jointed tiles. Nevertheless, the image shows travertine tiles with no joints. Can travertine tiles have no joints or you were talking about expansion joints at the edge of the wall?
We are talking about the fact that any natural stone installation project will have joints, but this is optional, not mandatory. In a decoration project our installation teams will grout and seal natural stone for closing the surface.
