Kavala XL crazy paving slate is a product suited to the most affordable and most striking outdoor landscaping schemes, a product that stands for elegance. In traditional settings, Kavala slate flagstones unfailingly find their place, but thanks to their irregular outlines, paving or a patio made from these large-format stones (with or without joints) can also be paired with a minimalist or baroque exterior.
The 1-2 cm thickness of the tiles is well suited to the temperature variations experienced in our country throughout the year. Kavala XL crazy paving slate copes successfully with freeze-thaw cycles, so you will be able to rely on a scheme built from these flagstones for many years to come. Kavala XL crazy paving slate can be used for cladding plinths, garden paths, patios or fences.

What you need to know about laying this natural stone?
– It is just as important as choosing the stone;
– The stone tiles must be washed and cleaned before installation and left to dry;
– The stone must be handled with care, as this is a natural material;
– Kavala XL crazy paving slate flagstones can be laid on a semi-dry screed;
– The joints must be at least 3 mm wide to allow the tiles to move;
– In outdoor schemes, the use of a waterproofing membrane is recommended;
– Weber Color Stone jointing grout is applied after the tiles have been fixed.

How do we care for Kavala crazy paving slate?
– Slate is a very hard-wearing stone in outdoor environments, but in order to enjoy it as long as possible, three very important steps must be taken into account: cleaning, sealing and maintenance;
– Even when laid outdoors, slate must be cleaned before and after installation, using LTP Grimex;
– The surface of this natural stone should be sealed with LTP Mattstone and, if you wish to intensify the colour of the stone without giving it a wet look, you can use LTP Colour Intensifier;
– For cleaning and maintaining the stone after installation, an LTP Waxwash cleaner can be used, which preserves the stone’s seal.
