Slabs are large pieces of natural stone (from marble or granite) used for processing countertops, windows sills, stairs etc. Usually, slabs are cut from large stone blocks with a specific thickness, according to requirements of your project. Slabs and half slabs have 2 – 3 cm thickness and are sold directly as raw material. Keep in mind that in here, square meters refer to full slabs used for the project and not square meters of your project.
The essential benefit of these slabs and half slabs is that, except for the cases when you need to use the exact size of them, you are able to cut them to size. As a result, slabs can be used for stairs, risers, flooring, bathroom and kitchen countertops, window sills, framing cladding fireplaces etc.
