The Weber D10 leveling screed must be used for equalizing and finishing concrete floors and residence screeds over concrete or prefabricated surfaces in medium traffic areas, constructions and renovations. It is recommended to apply a layer of Weber D10 primer as an adherence, floating or sliding screed as well as in the case of underfloor heating systems. It is a cement based screed with mineral additives and synthetic resins. The layer can reach a thickness between 20 and 50 mm, depending on the purpose of the work.
Cement based screed with synthetic resin content. Non-toxic product.
Surface preparation:
The surfaces must be dry (maximum 2 CM & humidity), clean, free of cracks or slippery materials and must meet the required bending tensile and compression resistance. Wax, bitumen, grease or oil stains must be removed.
Work and preparation method:
The contents of one bag must be manually or mechanically mixed with approx. 4.5 liters of water until a homogenous paste is obtained.
The well homogenized mix must be spread after preparation with the help of a trowel and must be leveled out with a jointing rule. The screed’s temperature when applying must be of at least 5oC and the screed must be protected against low temperatures for 3 more days. Must also be protected against harming influences, high temperatures, sunlight and water currents in order to maintain the contractions lower.
The surfaces become trafficable after approx. 48 hours but must not be exposed to higher loads sooner than 7 days. The finishing layer (hone, parquet, carpet etc.) must be applied once the screed reaches maturation age (10 days/cm thickness).
One layer thickness: 10-50 mm.
Recommendations:
Minimum working temperature is +5 C degrees to max +30 C degrees
During the application the surface must be protected from strong sunlight and rainfall.
Do not apply on wet surfaces.
Respect the requested water quantity while mixing.
The used tools must be washed immediately after using.
Technical data:
Support adherence: 0 5 N/sqmm
Compression resistance: 35 N/sqmm
Maximum granulation: 4 mm
Bending tensile resistance: 5 N/sqmm
Validity term:
12 months from the date of fabrication if stored on wooden pallets in dry conditions.
Consumption:
For a layer of 1 cm : cca 25 kg/sqm
