Arabescato Oro Polished Marble, 60 x 30 x 2 cm (Translucent)

A national pride in Afyon province – Turkey, this Arabescato marble features a color range reminiscent of an X-ray, with gold accents mirroring the daylight. Polished surface allows many degrees of reflection and is especially charming when backlit. Thanks to its translucent feature, you will be able to enjoy some magical effects if backlit, particularly with specially crafted enclosure. Tiles of 60 x 30 cm are recommended for cladding (over metallic structure) or flooring and the 2 cm thickness allows them to be used for stairs or window sills. 

Use classical technology for installation, taking extra with the adhesive. Translucent effect is canceled by the use of adhesives for tiles, therefore you should use metallic structures / boxes from other materials, while installing translucent tiles as walls. Use LED or bulbs for backlighting. Pay extra care when treating translucent marble surfaces, due to risk of honing. Aggressive detergents based on acids will be avoided and you can use Grimex for optimum results. You are always supposed to test your solution in a less visible area, then use sealers such as MPG or Mattstone H2O. For aftercare, use neutral pH neutral solutions: Waxwash.
