Features
Ceppo Grey Marble was formed by cementing screes/crumbles that resulted from harder rocks. The frozen pebbles look embedded in the marble mass is due to the natural sediments that caused the formation in the first phase. Later, when subjected to extreme temperatures and pressures, these cemented screes were converted into today’s marble. Marble includes mainly calcite, plus a significant percentage of magnesia, hence the slightly glassy look. Because of its formation, Ceppo Grey Marble displays unique features:
- density: 2 900 kg/m³
- water absorption (normal conditions): 1.19 %
- mechanical strength (compression): 129 MPa
- mechanical strength (bending): 8.4 MPa
Vessel Bathroom Sinks
A natural stone countertop is the best choice for a vessel bathroom sink. A natural stone countertop is hard and durable, for being able to support a marble sink. A cut-out must be completed before installation. Later, the sink is either glued with adhesive or supported by its weight.

2. Be careful when handling the product to avoid chipping surfaces/edges. Storage on a protective cardboard/paper surface is recommended.
Daily cleaning
Use water and neutral detergents, such as LTP Waxwash, LTP Stonewash, or LTP Grout & Tile Protector, for cleaning the sink. Never use aggressive cleaning products, such as acids or descaler, as those will damage the natural stone surfaces. If installed in a hard water setting, the cleaning properties of the detergent used will be diminished. We recommend frequent cleaning of the surface to solve this problem so that limescale, moss, and mildew do not have time to build up.
Avoid alcohol-based cleaners or aggressive cleaning agents.
