This travertine has great applicability due to its 2 cm thickness (high resistance) and its generous dimensions (60 x 30 cm). At the interior you may use it in bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, hallways, waiting rooms etc. You may also use it for floorings, stairs, walls and even fireplaces and other special claddings. This Classic Cross Cut travertine can also be installed at the exterior: facades, home bases, fences, terraces and even walkways or covered balconies.
Regardless of the area in which this travertine is used, be it interior or exterior, we recommend the use of cleaning and maintenance products for a better maintenance and longer lifespan. See below a list of recommended materials which have proven their quality over time. The honed appearance of this Cross Cut travertine gives the space a distinctive elegant touch.
I would like to avoid joints, could it be used for example as marble, so that they have no joints?
Travertine can be mounted with or without joints depending on your project.
Is travertine recommended for a project with underfloor heating? And tiles should be installed with joints? If the second answer is yes and for a travertine with 2 cm thickness, what joints do you recommend?
You can use travertine without restrictions and also marble, slate or limestone with underfloor heating. For the second questions we have 2 methods: first is to leave and expansion joint (on the edge, under the plinth) and second, depending on the design of your space, to leave a joint of 2 – 3 mm.
For my project I have to pave the alleys around the house. Underlay is from concrete and is damaged. What do you recommend?
