Calculating pedestals needed
Calculating the number of pedestals needed for a given surface
Condition: pedestals are installed so that each one supports the corners of 4 tiles.
Calculation method: letting a = the number of tiles along one side of the clad surface and b = the number of tiles along the other side, the number of pedestals (n) is calculated using the formula:
n = (a+1) x (b+1)
Example: a = 3 tiles, b = 4 tiles, so we need n = (3+1)x(4+1) = 20 pedestals
