Marble window sills are installed with a 5% slope for rainwater drainage, plus a 1L drainer; these sills are processed/cut-to-size, with the option of choosing the type of finish – (for example half-bullnose, beveled) drainer, etc.

What you need to know about window marble sills installation, for interior or exterior. Installation of marble windows sills is carried out by:
– by binding to the wall with suitable adhesives
– by embedding them into the wall, according to the following steps:

1. place the marble window sills in position
2. embed it in the wall
3. use adhesive tape for protecting the junction between the wall and the windows sills
4. apply one sealant coat at the junction between the window sills and the wall
5. stretch the joint
6. remove the adhesive tape
7. remove the excess sealant
– by sticking on the window profile in the areas recommended by the window manufacturer
– by fixing with rods mounted in holes drilled in the edge of the window sills edge and fixed in the wall
– on wall-mounted brackets

What you need to know about installing exterior/interior stairs/risers:

1. check the ramps/supporting ladder, where the stairs are to be installed, then measure and correct any flatness deviation and dimensional differences (by adjusting the screed)
2. prepare the support layer, which must be clean, smooth, flat, and load-bearing
3. check the flatness (constant thickness over the entire surface) to make sure your stair is even. Any error will be solved by adjusting either the adhesive coat or the screed. Check the flatness with a spirit level.
4. if the edges have not been initially planned, it is possible to process them on site, with an angle grinder equipped with abrasive discs. 
5. measure and trace the location of the stone stair on the support surface
6. apply elastic adhesive onto both the support and the tile (e.g., Weber MarmoPlus)
7. place the tile over the support stair and glue it.
8. check the flatness with a spirit level
9. the riser is installed by the same method. If the step is longer and exceeds the length and width of the support, then the stair is laid out first, then the riser. Otherwise, when the two pieces join at a right angle, then the riser can be laid out first.

Warning: For stairs/risers with atypical sizes, you will need a template, to be further used for your made-to-measure stairs/risers.

The edge processing (half-bullnose, bullnose, beveled, polishing, pasting), the cut-outs for installing bathroom sinks, the processing of a drainer, and hole sawing, are carried out on site.

What you need to know about installation:

1. preliminary measurements and check-ups must be executed by the installation team
2. the supporting furniture (cabinets, supports) is assembled and fixed
3. check the flatness of the supporting surface with a spirit level
4. choose the type of edges (if processed on site)
Options can also be carried out on-site, with an angle grinder provided with an abrasive disc, then finished with sandpaper of various grit sizes.
5. cut out for the sink are completed with a circular saw provided with a diamond disc and a hole saw (for the sink faucet), then process the required finish.
6. check-up the flatness and the lining up
7. place the countertop on the furniture
8. apply silicone between the countertop and the wall (backsplash) and between the worktop and the furniture.
9. Fit the bathroom sink and the sink faucet.

Warning: Usually, the stone kitchen countertop is complemented by a stone backsplash. The purpose of the backsplash is to protect the wall from splashes that may occur during the cooking process, therefore it is important to have a durable and easy-to-clean material. Besides these aspects, the backsplash must fit in with the surrounding wall cladding and also with the general design line. Fast and easy 3-step treatments are carried out after installation

1. Cleaning – is completed with LTP Grimex or LTP Power Stripper. For stain removal use professional solutions (detergents).
2. Surface Sealing – surface protection against dust, water, grease, and specific stains is differentiated according to the installation site. LTP MPG is recommended for indoor surfaces and LTP Mattstone H2O for outdoors. For superior countertop protection, we recommend the Silver Ion Antibacterial Kit.
3. Maintenance – use neutral detergents: LTP Waxwash and LTP Stonewash.

For surface restoration treatments (e. g. corrosive stains, other stains) we recommend the new natural stone restoration kits.
