Consider the carpenter’s work with wood, the blacksmith handle of an iron, the way the masons finish the stone, and so we can obtain the custom elements for your project, the way you want it. Whether this involve Window Sills or Stairs, our customers love the polished Ceppo Grey Marble, with its 2 cm thickness.

Manufactured in our production department with waterjet cutting, CNC machining, the cut-to-size pieces combine the stylish look of Ceppo Grey Marble with the needed precision for such elements.

Exterior window sills are installed with a 5% slope for rainwater run-off, plus 1L drainer, these window sills are manufactured/cut to size, with the option to choose from many types of edge finishes (e.g.: half bullnose, beveled edge), drainer etc.

Window sill installation is completed:

The installation of window sills is done:

– by bonding them to the masonry, with suitable adhesives

– by embedding them to the wall, following the instructions:

 1. place the window sills in position

2. embed it to the wall

3. apply duct tape at the junction between the wall with the window sill

4. apply a sealant coat at the junction between the window sill and the wall

5. stretch the joint

6. remove the duct tape

7. remove the excess sealant

 – by sticking on the window profile in the areas specified by the window manufacturer

– by fixing with rods mounted in holes drilled in the edge of the windows sill edge and fixed in the wall

– on wall-mounted brackets

Observation: For window sills with atypical size, you will need templates.

Stairs / Exterior and Interior Marble Stairs | Stairs and risers

Is there something more durable than a stair/stone staircase/marble stair that will last a lifetime. So go up and down the steps of your indoor or outdoor stairs and enjoy their unbeatable look and functionality! The elegance of the custom-made risers, also need non-slip strips processed onto the tread surface, especially outdoor.

What You Need to Know About Installing Outdoor/Indoor Stairs:

1. check the ramps/support ladder on which the stairs are to be installed, measure and correct any flatness errors and dimensional differences

2. prepare the support layer; it must be clean, smooth, flat, load bearing

3. check the stair flatness; it should have the same thickness all over the surface, so that the step is straight. Any small errors are corrected with adhesive/screed. Check the flatness with a spirit level

4. if the edges have not been initially planned, they can be machined on site with an angle grinder equipped with abrasive discs.

5. measure and sketch the position of the stone stair on the underlay

6. apply elastic adhesive onto both the underlay and the tile (e. g. Weber MarmoPlus)

7. place the tile on the support step and glue it.

8. always check the flatness with a spirit level

9. the riser is installed by the same technology. If the stair is longer and exceeds the length and width of the underlay, then the stair is fitted first, then the riser. If this is not the case and the two join at a right angle, then the riser can be fitted first.

Observation: For stair/risers with atypical size, a 1:1 cardboard template is needed, based on the concrete (brick) stair at the base. The template will be used for manufacturing the cut-to-size stairs and risers.

Regardless of your cut-to-size stone, it will require 3-step treatments after installation.

1. Cleaning – is carried out with LTP Grimex or LTP Power Stripper. Use specific solutions (detergents) for removing specific stains.

2. Waterproofing – makes sure the surfaces are protected against dust, water, grease and specific staining agents. LTP MPG is recommended for interior and LTP Mattstone H2O for exterior.

3. Maintenance – use neutral detergents LTP Waxwash and LTP Stonewash.

Panoramic, a reinvented symbol of contemporary Brașov

Panoramic reopens its doors in a form that preserves the building's modernist memory and translates it through light, transparency, materiality and a direct relationship with the landscape. The original building dates from the 1970s, and the contemporary intervention preserves the scale, proportions and structural logic of the modernist landmark.

Casa Icoanei, interwar heritage reconfigured for the present

The house recovers its Florentine-Moorish character through the restoration of the façades and the original details, reinterpreted in a contemporary, luminous and rigorously proportioned formula. The main volume is extended vertically, and the openings are recalibrated to bring the morning light inside and to connect the spaces of the house more clearly.
