Over time, exposure to extreme temperatures and pressures transformed these into marble, primarily composed of calcite and magnesia, giving it a slightly glassy appearance.

Proper maintenance involves cleaning, sealing, and regular upkeep. Use alkaline cleaners such as LTP Grimex and LTP Power Stripper. For sealing, LTP Grout & Tile Protector or LTP Mattstone H2O are recommended. For daily cleaning, LTP Waxwash is ideal.
