The pavement talks not only about a harmonious integration with the entire surroundings, but is also a mark of everyone's personality. The new pavement made of Yellow Cross Cut tumbled travertine (3 cm thick), successfully fulfills this role. Recommended for outdoor spaces with medium traffic, this durable product impresses by color and texture when it's used for pedestrian walkways, car parks and even frames around swimming pools.
Due to the size of the plates (30.5 x 15.2 x 3 cm), the Yellow Cross Cut tumbled travertine can be mounted in various arrangements, which can create attractive, ingenious designs, valued by the chromatic variety of each slab. For exemple, it can be harmoniously associated with a house that is also covered with travertine in different shades and colors (Classic, Latte, Yellow etc.). Even if, the Yellow Cross Cut tumbled travertine is most often used in Mediterranean or rustic arrangements, it also fits into classy designs since the potential of this product is a unique combination of refinement and joviality.
What is the difference between travertine tiles and exterior paving travertine?
Travertine tiles are used for interior decoration projects such as flooring, walls or exterior vertical cladding (facades, fences etc.), while pavings are mainly used for alleys and terraces-like spaces. Travertine tile has on average 1.2 – 2 cm thickness, while the regular paving thickness is 3 cm.
What is the warranty?
Warranty is 2 years. Suitable aftercare (sealed on a regular basis and washed without acids etc.) guarantees decades of lifetime.
What is the recommended thickness of screed and does it also need welded wire mesh?
Screed should have minimum 4 – 5 cm and depending on the recipe of your concrete (for example: b200, b250, b300, b350 etc.) you can also use welded wire mesh.
Is it possible to install this material over a sand bed?
We recommend installation over concrete/screed, using a flexible adhesive (example: Weber.Set Stone, Weber Marmo.Plus etc.), available on our website.
