The surface of SKIN Flexible Slate is as hard and durable as any standard slate, yet for an extended lifetime you should keep in mind 3 steps: cleaning, sealing and aftercare

We only recommend using aftercare products designed for natural stone

Natural stone should be cleaned before and after installation; the thorough the cleaning before installation, the better the action of the waterproofing agent

We recommend LTP Grimex, available in our product range

Waterproofing is essential for maintaining the original look and beauty of natural stone, plus an extended lifetime. Waterproofing closes the micro pores of natural stone by creating a barrier against water and thus preventing the easy staining

You can apply 2 or 3 coats of LTP Mattstone H20 for waterproofing, an eco-friendly solution based on water that will not influence the surface look

You can also use LTP Glaze Protector for a “fresh clean look”

Use LTP Grimex for cleaning after installation and LTP Waxwash for daily cleaning

For stubborn stains, use LTP Power Stripper and for rust stains use LTP Grout Stain Remover
