This granite has a flamed finish, obtained by applying a flame of approximately 2000 degrees Celsius over the stone surface. The flame causes the surface layer to expand and flake off and thus the rough surface is revealed and ultimately tile variation in thickness is about 1-5 mm.
Things you should know about granite installation:
- make sure the product is clean before installation;
- handle tiles with care, because this is a natural material;
- for ensuring a proper bonding of tiles, make sure you apply adhesive all over their surface;
- for tiles bonding, it is recommended to use Weber Set Porcelain Max²;
- use Weber Color Comfort for grouting.
Tips for granite aftercare:
- use LTP Grimex for cleaning, before and post installation;
- seal the surface with LTP Mattstone or LTP Mattstone H20;
- for cleaning and stone aftercare following the installation, you can use LTP Waxwash, a solution with absolutely no influence over the already sealed surfaces.
