Tips for installation:
- it is quite simple, yet it is recommended to employ experts in natural stone installation;
- panels have to be cleaned, before and after installation;
- for exterior, we recommend Weber GR100 primer, for more durable projects;
- apply adhesive over the entire back of the panel for proper binding over the underlay;
- recommended underlays: concrete, thermal insulation panel or plasterboard;
- up to 3 m height: panels can be cladded directly over the thermal insulation panels;
- higher than 3 meters: it is mandatory to use welded wire mesh and dowels for securing the thermal insulation panels;
- installation over drywall: it is mandatory to use rabitz wire mesh;
- Weber Color Comfort joint grout is applied after binding the panels, for highlighting your natural stone (30 shades available)
Tips for natural stone aftercare:
- sandstone is durable, yet for an extended lifetime it will require cleaning, sealing and aftercare
- even if installed for exterior, clean your stone with LTP Grimex, before and after installation
- it is recommended to seal surface with LTP Mattstone, before and after installation
- use LTP Colour Intensifier for enhancing color
- stone micropores are sealed, thus preventing water from penetrating the surface and avoids easy staining
- use LTP Waxwash for cleaning and maintaining your stone after installation, a product which will not damage your sealed surfaces
- if you’re dealing with difficult stains, use LTP Power Stripper, and for rust stains, we recommend LTP Grout Stain Remover
