For processing and installing natural stone, different crews are organized based on the specifics of the work.

For countertop installation, the crew includes personnel qualified in stone processing, who carry out cutting, installation, sealing, and transport.

For installing cobblestone on a sand bed, the crew includes diggers and installers, while for installing cobblestone on a semi-dry screed, personnel are needed to prepare, apply, and level the screed, building the installation base first, before the stone installers come in. Depending on the specifics of the job, a separate crew is formed for installing polygonal stone outdoors. At the end of installation work, natural stone surfaces need to be sealed.

Protective equipment and workplace safety standards

Natural stone installation work is generally carried out in periods with temperatures between 5°C and 25-30°C, suitable for working with adhesives and grout. Under these conditions, protective equipment includes: coveralls, T-shirt, trousers, shirt, vest, winter jacket, hard hat, cap, gloves, safety glasses. Workplace safety standards are mandatory and address the hazards workers are exposed to. Briefings are held on site, led by the crew leader, tailored to the specific job. A general briefing is also held periodically for all staff, run by specialized safety firms.
